So….this is a work in progress! Let me know what other resources you’d like to see here. =)

Supply ListSupply List: If you’d like to donate additional supplies, we could also use Swiffer dusters, Lysol wipes, and page protectors! Of course we won’t turn down larger donations: iPads anyone?

Another copy of the supply list, letter from Mr. Bond, and student info form will be coming in the mail next week. We will have an “open house” so you can drop off supplies and help your child get a look at their new classroom on the last Friday before school starts.

Volunteer Form: We can always use volunteers. It is quite easy to volunteer with Team Read or in our classroom. Ask for a volunteer form in the office or I can send one home with your child. In the classroom I typically need: editors (working one-on-one with students once or twice a week), reading tutors, a book club coordinator, Parent-Teacher-Organization (PTO) representative, someone to help organize our classroom and responsibilities for jog-a-thon and carnival. If you’re interested in any of these, or want to help cut, glue, etc. at home, please let me know.

School starts at 8:35 am and ends at 3:22 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesdays students leave at 2 o’clock. Teachers use this time to collaborate, plan and work on school goals together.

This year’s schedule includes:

  • Monday: PE (wear tennis shoes)
  • Tuesday: Music
  • Wednesday: PE
  • Thursday: Library (bring library books back by Thursday morning)
  • Friday: Music

Lunch is from 11:25-11:50 am each day and you’re welcome to join your child in the cafeteria. Please let us know in advance when you are coming and if you need to order lunch from the cafeteria.
